Here we go again. If you read my previous post, then you have some idea of the shady network of left-wing advocacy groups, the media and their intent to destroy GOP leadership. The NAACP is probably one of the more vocal members of this Blueprint NC network.
So don’t be surprised when you hear a lot of noise in the media about voter suppression. What might motivate the NAACP to take extreme measures like civil disobedience in order to try to entice public anger over voter ID?
Brooke McGowan in the video above speaks at a public forum in reference to these false claims the opposition makes about voter suppression. Mrs. McGowan gives a compelling defense for voter ID in this video and speaks for many of us with these remarks: “Someone else just said… that we want to make it harder for people to vote. I claim that we want to make it harder for people to cheat.”
Protecting the integrity of the vote is what voter ID is all about. The NAACP does not speak for the majority of North Carolina voters. In a recent poll conducted by Elon University and published in The News and Observer, seventy percent of those polled in North Carolina supported the Voter ID provisions in the bill currently before the North Carolina legislature. Eighty percent of those polled thought it was fair.
So why is the NAACP willing to subvert the will of the people of North Carolina while they seek to impose their agenda upon us? Are they upset about losing the cozy relations the Democrat party had with the State Board of Elections before Republicans came into power? As stated in this article a recent BluePrint memo leads me to believe that these calls for civil disobedience fall right in line with their strategy “to hit the GOP where they are most vulnerable to voter anger over appearing to suppress voting, it will help with the ID fight.” According to the article by Susan Myrick, the Democrat party seems to always be looking for ways to increase votes for their candidates.
As Brooke McGowan states in the video above, ” We are watching the abandonment of common sense for the support of election corruption.” Let’s pray that tomorrow is the day for common sense to return to the North Carolina House!
